A short post to make up for the fact that I didn’t post yesterday (sorry). Today was another busy day and it seemed like it flew by. Con law exam is less than a week away. I know that no matter what I do, I won’t feel completely prepared for this exam, but I am going to do my best. I have a outline complete for the course, but I need to go over it in detail and make sure I understand the intricacies of each case. I am going to start looking at the practice exams starting tomorrow as well. I also have an outline complete for antitrust class and mostly complete for property (two more property classes left and some stuff to add).
As a testament to the stupidity of some law students, somebody decided to lock their bike along with my bike (which was already locked when they arrived) to the metal bike post. After class this morning, I couldn’t bike home because I had to wait for the owner of the other bike to come. I just walked home and had to walk back this evening to retrieve my bike. Moral of the story: you may be a smart-ass in class, but an idiot in real life!
NHL: The second round is set. Interestingly, seeds 1-4 made the conference semi’s in the eastern conference and seeds 5-8 made it in the western conference. Looks like the local San Jose Sharks will face Edmonton.
NBA: A buzzer beater by Lebron lifted the Cavs over the Wizards today for a 3-2 series lead. They should have won this game because it was in Cleveland. The Wizards are playing tough and I give them credit. The Pistons dispatched the Bucks today in a blow-out and will face the winner of the Cavs-Wizards series. Sadly, Raja Bell will be suspended for game 6 of the Lakers-Suns series after clothes-lining Kobe . This makes the task for Phoenix even more arduous. It would be amazing if they can pull it off in L.A. without a starter.
Arrillaga: Quick workout at the gym today featuring dumbbells for the shoulders and cable cross-over for the pecs. I also ran outdoors today for 45 minutes. It has been awhile since I have done the loop so it was nice to feel the fresh air again.
