Alpine Meadows Powder!!

Scott and I skied Alpine Meadows last Friday in epic conditions that exceeded even my dreams – 2+ feet of light, fluffy snow and bluebird California sunshine! We had several “fresh track” runs, hiked around for more fresh powder, and skied hard the whole day. The deep powder worked my legs big time but I had a smile on my face the entire time. It was awesome! Most of the day we were too busy making tracks in the powder to think about photos, but here are a couple shots from the summit of Ward Peak and the bottom of the famous Keyhole run, ranked by Forbes as one of the ten toughest ski runs in North America. Let’s hope the Sierra produces a few more similar powder days this season 🙂
