Felt crappy, but…

Yesterday I hit Los Alto Hills for the Elena Loop. I felt incredibly crappy to start with basically everything feeling out of sync. However, the weather was incredible with perfect temps and clear skies so I couldn’t resist. Somehow I got into a great rhythm and a fast pace naturally unfolded. The run ended up being one of the fastest I have ever done for that particular loop! This is just another example of not knowing how you might feel until you actually get out there and do the workout/run/effort. Moral: don’t despair if you feel sluggish before exercise or at the beginning of the workout because it can definitely turn around… and even if it doesn’t, you’re still exercising and getting in shape! After all, we can’t feel amazing every day!

The plan tomorrow is to get a nice run in before the Thanksgiving feast! Maybe I will also motivate myself to do a little studying and paper writing 🙂
