With my foot finally feeling better, I went out on a run today around campus and vicinity. The run was 50 minutes long – between 7.5 to 8 miles. I felt pretty awkward early on having not run for two weeks, but I got more comfortable as the run progressed. I am still going to take precautions to ensure I don’t reinjure by icing and building up slowly. I even bought some shoes yesterday with more cushioning to lessen the stress of the pounding on the foot. Anyway, it was great to get some fresh air on a beautiful sunny day!
