Today I ran at Wunderlich park, doing the same exact route I did last time (77 minutes, about 12 miles). I felt generally crappy on the uphill but somehow the run was still pretty fast. I guess that is a good sign when times are fast even when feeling slow. Part of what made me tired was a fast run yesterday evening at Los Altos Hills (the Moody road loop). I also slightly turned my ankle because I wasn’t focusing due to being tired. Fortunately, it wasn’t bad and I could run the last 35 minutes of the run without a problem. It was a reminder that trail running requires attention, even when tired!
